Lab Analyst (Construction)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Analyst to join our Quality Control team in a fast-paced construction environment. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory test including soil test, asphalt test, concrete test, field test etc. to meet up with applicable construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Preparation and maintaining of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
•  Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
•  Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
•  Compiling and inputting testing results.
•  Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
•  Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.

Qualifications:

•  Minimum of School Certificate and/or OND, with experience working in a construction laboratory.
•  
•  Minimum 2 -5years relevant working experience in construction laboratory in soil test, asphalt, concrete and field test for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
•  Computer proficiency is mandatory for Senior Laboratory Technicians.
•  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting test results and collaborating with team members and project stakeholders.
•  Familiarity with construction site environments and ability to perform field tests safely.
