Kitchen Supervisor

Job Description:
- Organise and coordinate the day to day production process on the Kitchen Floor.
- Ensure orderliness, routine cleaning and proper maintenance of the kitchen floors, work tables, and equipment
- Adhere to the principles of FIFO/FEFO for the receipt of incoming supplies.
- Adhere to the quality checklist for the receipt of supplies.
- Regularly inspect food items and kitchen areas for the purpose of preventing cross contamination of food borne illnesses.
- Maintain inventory of dry storage, refrigerated and frozen food, condiments, etc. for the purpose of ensuring availability of items.
- Control inventory levels by observing the reorder cycle and avoiding stock out.
- Ensure the repair and routine maintenance of cooking equipment.
- Inspect all production equipment on a regular basis to ensure they comply with cleanliness and functionality standards.
- Promptly escalate any faulty or damaged equipment/machinery/electrical appliances to the facility Manager in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs and prepare reports as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND certificate or its equivalent
- Kitchen/food production experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis and weekends.
- Genuine interest in production of healthy meals.
- Candidates must live close to their desired work location: Ogudu, Lagos. (There is no accommodation)
