KEY PRODUCT SALES EXECUTIVE

Job Description:
This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in solar solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our Energy Generation & Storage solutions which comprises of Panels, Batteries, Inverters and Charge Controllers through dealer channels such as partners, wholesalers, distributors, and agents and ensure they are always stocked with the SKUs within this category and continuously increase their volumes while sourcing for more.
i. Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and understand customer needs.
ii. Build a sound knowledge base of the EGS range of products.
iii. Develop and sustain solid relationships with existing distributors that can drive the EGS category of products.
iv. Revive relationships with old customers and boost their sales of EGS range of products.
v. Prospect and secure new Distributors and sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other channels to drive the EGS category of products.
vi. Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and concerns.
vii. Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing ensuring customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
viii. Follow up on complaints and queries on behalf of distributors.
ix. Conduct site surveys and pre-installation site preparations.
x. Prepare quotations and estimates for proposed solutions.
xi. Deliver effective presentations on products and services to clients.
xii. Prepare frequent reviews and sales forecasts on the EGS category of products.
xiii. Ensure availability of stock for sales based on demand forecasts.
xiv. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports of your territory and partners.
xv. Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns they might have
xvi. Building and maintaining a CRM database.
xvii. Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
xviii. Participating in sales team meetings remotely and physically.
xix. Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
Qualifications:
- HND/BSC in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical and/or Electronics, or any similar background.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in this role.
- Basic experience or understanding of solar products and solutions.
- Must have prior experience managing Channels Sales preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Must have an existing database of retailers in the renewable energy business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
