I am seeking a dynamic Product Owner to join me. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product development process from conception to launch of our consulting services as well as business productivity apps: Business Stack series, ensuring that the products meet customer needs and business objectives.

Key Details:
1. Position: Junior Technical Product Owner
2. Location: Abeokuta, Ogun state. On site only, No Remote working.
3. Product Ownership: : Tech Consulting, SaaS, iOS Apps, web SPA, small to medium size to large business automation
4. Compensation: NGN 600,000 per month Basic Salary + Negotiable Quarterly Bonus. + Company Equity.
5. Earning Potential: Year 1 OTE : NGN 9,000,000; Year 2 OTE : NGN 15,000,000 + Equity.
6. Required Mentality: An early adopter personality with a resilient and relentless entrepreneurial spirit is essential.

Mandatory Lean Startup environment:
you must be comfortable grabbing the initiative and communicating your ideas in easily understood terms and using the simplest tools, not require any third party collaboration, CRM tools or ‘tech stack’; you must be able to operate using simple text editor, notes or diary tools, and our simple internal contacts database.

Responsibilities:
As the Technical Product Owner of my Business Stack series of iOS apps and browser Single Page Application(SPA), your primary mission is to evolve and define product propositions from conception to delivery, carrying out tasks that include market research, product documentation, detailed functional specification and use cases or user stories. This role is ideal for product-driven enthusiasts seeking a challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity.

MVP practices: you will prioritise product features and benefits, starting with browser and iOS versions of my Business Stack series(invoices, expenses, contacts database, diary) and Expense Workflow offering, already available in the App Store.

You will work closely with, and be supported and guided by me, the Founder.

Detailed Responsibilities:

– Conduct market research to identify ideal customer profile and industry trends.

– Provide regular updates on market trends, and competitor analysis.

– Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy

– Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmaps

– Gather and prioritise requirements from stakeholders and customers

– Create product documentation including user stories and specifications

– Create user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams

– Work closely with project management software to track progress and communicate updates

– Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure product quality

– Develop wireframes for visual representation of product features

– Create and execute test cases to validate product functionality

Skills:

– Proficient in requirements gathering techniques

– Knowledge of user acceptance testing processes

– Understanding of Agile methodologies

– Proficiency in using project management tools

– Ability to create wireframes for design mock-ups

– Skilled in developing and executing test cases for product validation

Qualifications:

1 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2 A good Humanities degree, or a Law degree or an MBA, while not essential, could serve as suitable preparation.

3 Curiosity and enthusiasm for managing software products that facilitate enterprise resource planning or spend management.

Useful Experience:
– Proven track record in product ownership or business analyst roles.

Please summarise any industry experiences you have as a product owner that would be useful or particularly relevant to this role? What vertical industry experience do you have in the automation of day to day business tasks? This role is to work alongside a technical founder who is looking for a focused and enthusiastic professional. You will be the principal product owner for consulting and for my Business Stack series of Web based and iOS apps. What challenges do you expect to have when working with just one other individual?

• 3. Lean startup, Early Adopter mindset:

An early adopter mindset and MVP approach are mandatory. From the product viewpoint, In your first 30 days, with the MVP and lean environment restrictions, what will you aim to achieve and what level of budget and other resources do you expect or require? From the customer viewpoint how do you see yourself embracing this mindset, especially when making cold approaches to early adopters and potential customers about an unknown brand? Keep in mind we will be using internal database tools and will not be using third party cloud platforms to store customer data.

• 4. Customer focus and Sales Experience:

Which of your customer-oriented or sales roles do you anticipate would be most relevant to this role, particularly given that you’ll be making cold approaches and gathering feedback on behalf of an unknown brand with minimal market presence? How do you plan to leverage your existing professional network?

• 5. Proposition:

With what you’ve researched about this project, which of Meotolo’s current offerings, be it apps, consulting or other elements, are you aware of? What are your first impressions with respect to whether they can form a viable proposition? How could your experiences or imagination help you to invalidate, validate, or refine the proposition?
