Job Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Junior PV Design Engineer. The Junior PV Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing mechanical and electrical engineering analyses, creating detailed design drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and collaborating with the engineering team to optimize system performance. The role also involves providing support during the installation and commissioning of PV systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Electrical power network design and interpretation
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g. PVSyst, HomerPRO, HelioScope, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Strong data analytics and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Experience in the solar industry is a plus
