Junior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Backend Engineer with deep experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You’ll help architect, build, and scale mission-critical applications, integrating real-time data, payment systems, and cloud-native infrastructure.

? What You’ll Do

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices for web and mobile applications.
• Implement Event-Driven Architecture using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
• Integrate with payment APIs and handle multiple database connections across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB , etc.
• Import and sync data from multiple sources and databases.
• Handle internal HTTP services communication effectively in microservice environments.
• Manage Docker containers with multiple networks , and orchestrate services using Kubernetes .
• Monitor systems using Grafana , Prometheus , and performance tools like JMETER .
• Work with Laravel Queues , custom Composer packages , and scalable job processing.
• Swagger (OpenAPI) – For API documentation and developer experience
• Deploy services to AWS , Azure , or other cloud platforms using CI/CD best practices .
• Collaborate across teams to define innovative solutions and lead technical initiatives.

? What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in back-end software engineering.
• Deep understanding of MVC pattern , Microservices , and Event-Driven Architecture .
• Strong background in at least one backend language: Java, Python, or Node.js .
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases .
• Cloud-native development on platforms like AWS or Azure .
• Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and DevOps best practices .
• Proven experience with Kafka , RabbitMQ , or other messaging systems.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Write clear API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
