Inventory Officer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will oversee stock levels, ensure proper documentation, coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams, and prevent losses through effective stock control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and stock reconciliation.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and match with the system records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of received items and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure all stock items are correctly labeled and stored in their proper locations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic inventory reports to management.
  • Work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to avoid losses, theft, or wastage.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments and document all transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, health, and security regulations in the warehouse.

 Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or HND
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year proven experience in inventory or stock control.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Pay: ₦80,000.00 – ₦90,000.00 per month
