Job Description:
The Inventory Assistant will support the Inventory Manager in all aspects of the daily inventory operations of our all our retail stores and our fragrance studio such as stock management, maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely restocking of shelves, vendor coordination to logistics, product distribution, upholding the quality, presentation, and availability of all Seinde Signature products. his role ensures that fragrance products are received, stored, tracked, and distributed with the care and precision expected of a luxury brand. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively across teams to ensure efficient inventory flow and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control and Stock Management
- Support the Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting daily and periodic stock counts.
- Monitor product levels across the studio and retail outlets to ensure timely restocking and availability of all core and seasonal fragrances.
- Assist in verifying, tagging, and labeling newly received products in alignment with Seinde Signature’s inventory standards.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized stockroom with proper categorization of product types, testers, and displays.
- Record all stock movement such as receipts, transfers, damages, write-offs, in the inventory management system accurately and in real time.
Logistics and Distribution Management
- Assist in coordinating the movement of goods between the storehouse, Experience Studio, and retail store, ensuring seamless and timely replenishment.
- Work closely with the Inventory Manager and Sales team to prioritize urgent restocks and resolve product availability issues promptly.
- Support the packaging, preparation, and dispatch of customer and retail orders while ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products to prevent breakage, spoilage, or loss during transit or display setup.
Supplier and Vendor Coordination
- Assist with the receiving of shipments from local and international suppliers, confirming that deliveries match orders in both quantity and quality.
- Report delivery discrepancies or damaged goods to the Inventory Manager for escalation.
- Liaise with logistics partners for follow-ups on delayed deliveries or product tracking when needed.
- Maintain organized records of all receipts, invoices, and delivery notes for audit and reconciliation purposes.
Compliance, Hygiene, and Product Care
- Ensure that all fragrance products are stored according to brand guidelines away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture to preserve quality.
- Adhere to strict hygiene protocols when handling products, testers, or packaging materials.
- Assist in implementing rotation strategies (FIFO/FEFO) to reduce product ageing and ensure freshness of displayed and stored items.
Inventory Audits and Reporting
- Participate in weekly and monthly physical stock audits in collaboration with the Inventory Manager and Accounts department.
- Identify stock discrepancies and contribute to investigation efforts, helping to resolve issues in a timely and thorough manner.
- Support in generating basic inventory reports and analysis summaries when required.
Team Collaboration and Problem Solving
- Work hand-in-hand with Sales & Customer Experience teams to ensure inventory alignment with sales floor needs and product visibility.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to identify process gaps or improvement areas in inventory handling and logistics.
- Proactively identify stock issues such as misplacements, low counts, or damaged packaging and suggest practical solutions.
Customer Order Fulfillment Support
- Assist in preparing online or special customer orders for pick-up or delivery, ensuring products are clean, labeled, and well-packaged.
- Coordinate with the Customer Experience team to ensure accurate product handovers or dispatch logistics.
- Maintain discretion and care in fulfilling VIP or high-value fragrance orders, reflecting Seinde Signature’s luxury standard.
Skills & Qualifications
- OND/HND/bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Inventory Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in inventory, stockroom, or retail support roles (experience in luxury retail is a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory or stock management software and basic data entry.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift medium-weight boxes and work on feet for extended periods.

Working Conditions
- Location: Seinde Signature Experience Studio and Salon de Parfum, Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos
- Hours: Full-time; flexibility may be required based on store operations and product deliveries
- Travel: Minimal, unless required for vendor or inter-store coordination

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education: Undergraduate (Required)
Experience: inventory, retail support, or a related field: 3 years (Required)

Pay: ₦250,000.00 – ₦300,000.00 per month
