Job Description:

We are seeking Internal Control Officers / Inventory Officers with a background in Accounting, Audit, Banking, or Finance to oversee stock management, financial controls, and compliance processes within a shopping mall. The ideal candidates will ensure proper inventory tracking, mitigate risks, and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate internal controls to prevent financial mismanagement, fraud, and errors.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Investigate discrepancies in stock and financial reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline inventory processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of transactions, receipts, and financial activities.
  • Generate and present periodic reports on inventory status, financial risks, and control assessments.
  • Implement best practices in stock management to minimize losses and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Audit, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal control, inventory management, audit, or finance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and inventory management systems.
  • Strong ethical standards and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
