Internal Audit Intern

Job Description:

As an Internal Audit Intern, you’ll help safeguard our business by evaluating risks in loan origination, credit underwriting, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work alongside our audit team to test controls, analyze data, and ensure our fast-growing fintech operates with integrity and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily call-over of transactions

Weekly review of collections and gap reports

Support departmental audits by handling non-technical tasks

Weekly analysis of sales and collection performance

Document findings and help draft actionable recommendations for process improvements.

Shadow cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, Engineering) to understand how controls are embedded in our tech stack.

Qualifications:

HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or other related Social Science disciplines

0–2 years of relevant work experience

Comfortable with data analysis (Excel required; SQL/Python a plus).
