HSE Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Supervisor in the construction space and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our project site. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day safety operations, lead inspections and training, and play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct daily inspections, risk assessments, and enforce corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training to workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor permit-to-work systems, PPE usage, and adherence to safe work methods.
• Lead incident investigations and assist in reporting and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness of emergency response measures.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including logs, reports, and audits.
• Support site teams and subcontractors in maintaining high HSE standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent HSE certification) is mandatory.
• Minimum 4–6 years of HSE experience in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of local and international construction safety regulations.
• Experience supervising site safety staff or subcontractors.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
