Job Description:

We are hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Hotel Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance for the hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, oversee budgeting processes, and support overall financial health and accountability.

What you will be doing

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Record and monitor all financial transactions using accounting software
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
• Manage payroll processing, tax remittances, and statutory deductions
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and review general ledger accounts
• Monitor and control operational expenses
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial planning documents
• Support audits and implement internal controls
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and industry standards
• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decisions

The ideal candidate

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail

Pay: ₦350,000.00 – ₦400,000.00 per month
