Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Customer Management
  • Assist the HORECA Regional Manager in meeting sales targets within the HORECA sector.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering companies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to key accounts, manage stock levels, address customer concerns, and introduce new product offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales with customers in collaboration with the HORECA Manager.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Gather intelligence on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
  • Identify new business opportunities and communicate insights to the HORECA Manager.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and emerging industry trends to assist in product development and marketing strategies.
  • Sales Team Supervision & Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives focused on the HORECA sector.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure sales objectives and KPIs are achieved.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training to enhance the performance and skills of the sales team.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to the HORECA Manager.
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
  • Brand Visibility & Promotion
  • Ensure optimal product visibility and placement at key HORECA outlets.
  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns, including product sampling, promotional events, and brand activations.
  • Operational Coordination
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of sales strategies for various HORECA accounts.
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the HORECA sector.
  • Previous experience supervising a sales team is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership abilities and team management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Adept at analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month
