An experienced and dynamic Head of Technology is needed to lead an engineering team within a business unit, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include driving innovation, delivering high-quality products, and fostering a collaborative and continuously improving engineering culture.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership and Management**

• Provide strategic leadership and direction.
• Manage and mentor engineers.
• Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and innovation.
• Maintain effective communication across departments.

**Technical Strategy and Execution**

• Develop and implement technical roadmaps.
• Drive best practices to optimize productivity.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions.

**Product Development and Delivery**

• Collaborate on product requirements and priorities.
• Ensure timely, high-quality product releases.
• Monitor and optimize product performance.

**Talent Acquisition and Development**

• Recruit and onboard top engineering talent.
• Support team development through coaching and feedback.
• Encourage learning and cross-functional collaboration.

**Stakeholder Engagement**

• Liaise with senior management, providing regular project updates.
• Collaborate with departments such as sales, marketing, and operations.
• Represent the engineering team at industry events.

**PII Data Processor Responsibilities**

• Design and implement IT systems for personal data collection.
• Use strategies and tools for data gathering.
• Safeguard personal data with security measures.
• Store and transfer PII data securely.

 **Qualifications and Experience**

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in software engineering; 6+ in leadership.
• Experience delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Technical background in development tools/languages (e.g., Java, Node, Angular, Ionic, Postgres).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Agile/Scrum and DevOps (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) experience is a plus.
