Job Description:
This role requires a visionary leader who can drive academic excellence, foster innovation in online professional training, and ensure an exceptional learning experience for a global student body. The Head of School will align academic strategies with IBI’s mission to “retrain minds and rebuild kings,” promoting personal and professional transformation through faith-based principles and practical strategies.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Academic Leadership and Strategy
- Curriculum Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive online courses and programs that cater to a diverse, global audience. Ensure that curricula integrate spiritual principles with practical strategies, reflecting IBI’s holistic approach to education.
- Program Innovation: Lead the development of new programs and initiatives that address emerging trends and needs in professional training. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the academic team.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous academic standards and assessment methods to ensure the delivery of high-quality education. Monitor and enhance course effectiveness through regular evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
2. Faculty Management and Development
- Recruitment and Supervision: Hire, mentor, and manage a team of faculty members, including guest trainers and adjunct instructors. Provide leadership and support to ensure effective teaching and alignment with IBI’s educational philosophy.
- Professional Development: Organize and promote ongoing professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance their teaching skills and subject matter expertise. Encourage the integration of innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Performance Evaluation: Implement a robust system for evaluating faculty performance, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing excellence in teaching and contribution to the institute.
3. Student Experience and Support
- Student Engagement: Develop and oversee strategies to enhance student engagement, retention, and success. Ensure that students receive comprehensive support services, including academic advising, mentoring, and career counseling.
- Community Building: Foster a vibrant and inclusive online learning community that encourages collaboration, networking, and mutual support among students.
- Feedback Integration: Establish channels for collecting and responding to student feedback, using insights to inform program improvements and address student needs proactively.
4. Operational and Administrative Oversight
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce academic policies and procedures that uphold the integrity and reputation of IBI. Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of academic resources, including budgets, technological tools, and learning materials, to support effective program delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Content, Media, Marketing, and Technical Support, to ensure cohesive operations and effective promotion of academic programs.
5. Strategic Growth and External Relations
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with external organizations, industry leaders, and academic institutions to enhance program offerings, expand reach, and create opportunities for students and faculty.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, demands, and opportunities in the field of online professional training. Use insights to inform strategic planning and program development.
- Representation: Serve as a spokesperson for IBI at conferences, seminars, and other public engagements, promoting the institute’s mission and programs to a broader audience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Educational Background: A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is required.
· Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic setting, preferably within an online or hybrid learning environment.
· Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
· Innovative Mindset: Strong understanding of current trends in online education, instructional design, and educational technology. Ability to implement innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦500,000.00 – ₦1,000,000.00 per month
