Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to oversee our day-to-day operational functions. The successful candidate will have a strategic role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations, while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the power or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and optimize the company’s operational activities in line with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the operational team to ensure effective execution of projects, maintenance, and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Drive cost management and resource optimization while maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define business objectives, ensuring alignment with operational strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyze and monitor operational performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and suppliers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the power, utilities, or infrastructure industries in Nigeria.
  • Knowledge of power systems, renewable energy solutions, and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian energy regulatory environment.
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills.
