Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:

-Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our business goals.

-Drive strategic decision-making by providing actionable financial insights to the executive team

Operational Excellence:

-Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

-Optimize cash flow management

-Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reducing cost overruns and maximizing profitability.

Team Leadership & Development:

-Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.

-Encourage professional development and create succession plans to support the evolving needs of the business.

Stakeholder Engagement:

-Liaise with external partners, including banks, investors, and auditors, to build and maintain strong relationships.

-Present financial performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.

-8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.

-Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and operational excellence in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

-In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance standards in Nigeria.

-Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

-Experience in leading high-performing teams and driving organizational change.

-Proficiency in financial software; advanced Excel skills required.
