Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Visual Design and Branding Tutor to join our team. You will be responsible for tutoring students in the art of creating stunning visual identities and brands, and also providing guidance, feedback, and support as they develop their visual design and branding skills.

Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Delivery

• Teach visual design principles, typography, color theory, layout techniques, and branding strategies.
• Integrate industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma.
• Develop and update course materials (lectures, assignments, and projects).
• Use various teaching methods for engaging lessons.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work.

2. Student Assessment and Mentorship

• Offer one-on-one mentoring and guidance on projects and portfolios.
• Track and assess student progress, providing support when needed.
• Assist students in developing professional portfolios for future employment.
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment.

3. Administrative Tasks

• Prepare lesson plans and course schedules.
• Track attendance and manage student records.
• Submit regular progress reports on student performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in visual design, branding, or a related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing your visual design and branding work
• Excellent communication and teaching skills

Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and learning styles

Job Type: Part-time
