Full Stack Developer – Backend Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. While this is primarily a backend role, the ideal candidate should have some familiarity with React.js to facilitate smooth collaboration with frontend teams. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services, integrating third-party APIs (like Stripe), and ensuring high-performance data processing using Redis, RabbitMQ, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services in a microservices architecture.
• Implement and optimize Redis for caching and real-time data handling.
• Integrate and manage payment processing using Stripe API.
• Work with RabbitMQ for message queuing and event-driven systems.
• Deploy and manage applications on VPS (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Collaborate with frontend developers (some React.js knowledge is a plus).
• Ensure system security, scalability, and high availability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of microservices, Redis, RabbitMQ, and API integrations.
• Experience with Stripe or other payment gateways.
• Familiarity with deploying and managing applications on a VPS.
• Basic knowledge of React.js (for better team collaboration).
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, or MySQL).
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong Experience with TypeScript.

Nice-to-Have

• Previous work in fintech or e-commerce.

Compensation

• Salary : ₦300,000 monthly.
