Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, budgeting, and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, improving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through insightful analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
- Lead cost analysis and control initiatives to improve profitability.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or CFA is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., manufacturing, tech, healthcare, etc.]
- Knowledge of tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or fundraising (if applicable).
