Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, budgeting, and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, improving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through insightful analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
  • Lead cost analysis and control initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or CFA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., manufacturing, tech, healthcare, etc.]
  • Knowledge of tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or fundraising (if applicable).
