As we grow, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance and Compliance Associate to join our team and help strengthen our financial operations and regulatory compliance framework.

Responsibilities:

Compliance:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, including KYC, AML, CBN regulations, and NDPR (Nigeria Data Protection Regulation).
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, audits, and prepare reports.
  • Investigate and document potential violations, proposing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Develop, review, and implement compliance programs, manuals, and procedures.
  • Support regulatory inspections and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Finance:

  • Maintain and manage financial data, records, and documentation.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
  • Support the budgeting process, expenditure tracking, and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor and ensure efficient cash flow management and payment processes.

Other Duties:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits and regulatory investigations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Tech teams to maintain compliance and optimize processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and FinTech industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and accounting principles.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
  • Prior experience in a FinTech, financial services, banking, or regulated industry is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional, ACA, ACCA, CAMS) are a strong advantage.

FinTech Industry Advantage:

  • Experience working in or knowledge of the FinTech sector, including familiarity with digital wallets, online payments, and innovative financial products.

Pay: ₦250,000.00 – ₦300,000.00 per month
