Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Onboarding Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting riders and vendors as we expand our operations.

Key Responsibilities: Vendor Onboarding

  • Identify, approach, and onboard restaurants and food vendors in assigned territories.
  • Guide vendors through the onboarding process, including app usage, menu uploads, and order management.
  • Provide training materials and conduct in-person or virtual training sessions.
  • Ensure all vendor information is accurately documented and submitted for registration.
  • Address vendor questions and concerns during onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.

Rider Onboarding

  • Recruit freelance riders through various channels (social media, community outreach, job boards).
  • Verify rider documentation, including licenses and identity.
  • Train riders on app usage, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Distribute onboarding kits (e.g., branded bags, vests).
  • Maintain regular communication with riders to address concerns and gather feedback.

Field Operations

  • Conduct field visits to ensure riders and vendors comply with WakaFoods’ standards.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues that may arise during onboarding or service delivery.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve the onboarding process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and riders to foster loyalty and engagement.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to align onboarding efforts with overall company goals.
  • Provide regular reports on onboarding progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance the onboarding experience for both riders and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. (Preferred but not mandatory.)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in field sales, customer service, or a similar role. Experience in onboarding or food delivery platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with using technology, including mobile apps and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with the food delivery industry or local restaurant ecosystem is an advantage.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong organizational skills.
