Job Description:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our buildings, grounds, and mechanical and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills, capable of managing a team of maintenance and custodial staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee all building maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and renovations.
-Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
-Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
-Prepare and manage facility budgets and forecasts.
-Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance, and repairs.
-Coordinate moves, rearrangements, and installations of equipment and furniture.
-Monitor and manage building security and surveillance systems.
-Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Facility Manager or relevant position.
-Solid knowledge of facility management best practices.
Strong leadership and management skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
-Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Education: Higher National Diploma (Preferred)
