Facility Manager

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of office space and workstations.
- Manage third-party vendors for cleaning, security, fumigation, utilities, and waste.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and timely repairs of office assets.
- Handle procurement and facility inventory management.
- Supervise janitorial staff and ensure cleanliness of the facility.
- Develop emergency response plans and enforce HSE compliance.
- Monitor budget and ensure cost-effectiveness of facility expenditures.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and follow up on action plans.
- Liaise with internal departments (HR, IT) to support workplace requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in managing office facilities or coworking hubs.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong negotiation and vendor evaluation skills
- Deep understanding of building systems, space management, and vendor oversight
- Familiarity with building safety codes and emergency procedures
- Ability to manage facility budgets and reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to assess facility risks and recommend preventive strategies
- Strong diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving operational issues
- Efficient prioritization and decision-making under pressure
