Job Description:
Pershing Hills Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Classroom Management: Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and active participation.
- Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Parent and Guardian Communication: Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns or questions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, grade-level teams, and other school staff to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Professional Development: Stay current with educational trends and research, actively participate in professional development opportunities, and continuously seek to improve teaching practices.
- Student Support: Identify and address the unique learning needs of individual students, providing necessary support and accommodations.
- Classroom Resources: Manage classroom materials, resources, and technology effectively to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience at the elementary level is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of age-appropriate pedagogy and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in classroom technology and digital tools.
- Dedication to professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lekki: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: ₦80,000.00 – ₦200,000.00 per month
