Cybersecurity Administrator / Ethical Hacker

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Cybersecurity Administrator / Ethical Hacker, who will be responsible for protecting our IT infrastructure, applications, and data from cyber threats. You will proactively identify vulnerabilities through ethical hacking techniques, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with Nigerian cybersecurity laws.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on company networks, applications, and systems to identify security weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry standards and Nigerian regulations.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate threats.
• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus, and other security tools.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into software development and infrastructure management.
• Perform ethical hacking exercises simulating real-world cyberattacks to test defenses.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
• Conduct security awareness training for staff to promote a security-conscious culture.
• Ensure compliance with the Nigerian Cybercrimes Act 2015 and other relevant laws.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, findings, and remediation plans.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 3 years
• Working Hours : Full Time
