Job Description:

• Teaching Music and Arts:
• Instruct students in music theory, music history, vocal performance, instrumental techniques, visual arts, and other creative disciplines.
• Develop lesson plans, curriculum, and teaching materials that align with educational standards.
• Classroom Management:
• Manage a classroom environment that encourages creativity, participation, and respect.
• Ensure students remain focused and engaged in class activities.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Assess student progress through regular tests, performances, projects, and presentations.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and knowledge.
• Grade assignments and performances.
• Student Performances and Exhibitions:
• Organize school concerts, musical performances, art exhibitions, and creative showcases.
• Prepare students for these events, whether it involves rehearsals, art creation, or performance.
• Individualized Instruction:
• Identify the needs of individual students and provide tailored instruction to address different learning styles and abilities.
• Offer extra help or enrichment activities to students who need it.
• Promote Creativity:
• Encourage students to express themselves creatively, whether in music composition, visual arts, or performing arts.
• Foster an environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and developing their artistic skills.
• Collaboration:
• Work with other teachers, administrators, and staff to ensure arts education is integrated into the broader curriculum.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that may involve music, visual arts, theater, and other creative forms.
• Resource Management:
• Maintain and organize classroom materials and musical instruments.
• Ensure that students have access to necessary resources and equipment for their learning.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated with current trends in arts education, new techniques, and technologies.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
• Inspiring Passion for the Arts:
• Cultivate a passion for music and the arts in students by being a role model and sharing your own enthusiasm for creative expression.

Pay: ₦80,000.00 – ₦90,000.00 per month

Education: Undergraduate (Required)

Experience: teaching: 3 years (Required)
