Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Develop and implement strategies to source cost-effective, high-quality products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, maintain an approved vendor list, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain procurement records.
Budgeting and Expense Analysis
- Collaborate with departments to prepare and monitor procurement budgets.
- Vet bills, track and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing actionable insights.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with approved budgets.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee compliance for campaigns, images, and materials to meet internal and external guidelines.
- Analyze market trends, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Email and Communication Oversight
- Ensure timely responses to departmental emails (within 30 minutes during business hours).
- Maintain clear, effective communication with stakeholders to support procurement operations.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare procurement and compliance reports for management review.
- Maintain an organized database of procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with teams to understand procurement needs and improve expense forecasting.
- Facilitate smooth communication and support between Finance, Operations, and other departments.
Cost Optimization and Efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic purchasing and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor trends and implement efficient procurement practices to maximize value.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and securing favorable terms while ensuring compliance.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and analyze market trends effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement laws, compliance standards, Microsoft Office suite, and procurement software.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and time-management abilities.
Pay: ₦200,000.00 – ₦300,000.00 per month
