Job Description:

FT9ja is looking for a Community Manager to lead and grow its trader community. The ideal candidate will engage with traders, manage online discussions, and foster a strong and active trading community. This role requires a blend of community engagement, social media management, and customer interaction to create a dynamic and engaging environment for forex traders.

Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Growth

• Build and nurture an active trader community across platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Twitter, and Facebook.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies, including AMAs, live trading events, and challenges.
• Identify and collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and top traders to enhance community growth.

Social Media & Content Management

• Create and manage community-driven content, including discussions, market insights, and trading-related updates.
• Moderate discussions to ensure a professional and supportive trading environment.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align community engagement with brand messaging.

Customer Interaction & Support

• Serve as a bridge between traders and FT9ja’s support and product teams, escalating feedback when necessary.
• Respond to community inquiries, provide support, and enhance trader experience.
• Monitor and report on community trends and sentiment to improve engagement strategies.

Brand Advocacy & Events

• Represent FT9ja in trading forums, forex groups, and industry discussions.
• Organize webinars, networking events, and trader meet-ups to strengthen FT9ja’s presence.
• Collaborate with the growth team to implement referral and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in community management, social media, or a related role, preferably in forex, crypto, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of the forex trading industry, including prop firms and trader psychology.
• Experience with platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups, Twitter, and trading forums.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire a community.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to track engagement metrics and optimize strategies.
• Passion for financial markets and the prop trading industry.
• Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Notion, or other community management software is a plus.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
