Community Engagement & Events Coordinator

Job Description:

This role is part of The Inertia Group, creators of Pzare — a platform designed to connect communities through sport and meaningful local engagement. You’ll take the lead in organising and promoting sessions while keeping our online community informed and inspired. There may also be chances to support community-building initiatives across other group projects like TLS Care and Inertia Cosmetic.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and manage weekly football, basketball, and tournament events across multiple locations.
• Engage with participants on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Meetup, and WhatsApp — posting updates, replying to messages, and answering questions.
• Run email marketing campaigns (event invites, newsletters, follow-ups).
• Outreach to new players and groups to boost sign-ups and visibility.
• Work alongside the Partnerships & Outreach Specialist to connect with churches and local organisations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in event planning, community management, or similar coordination roles.
• Excellent communicator — written and verbal — who can represent the voice of the brand online.
• Tech-savvy and confident using tools like Mailchimp, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple conversations and events at once.
• Passionate about sports, inclusion, and building relationships from the ground up.

• Marketing: 3 years (Required)
