We’re seeking a dynamic, creative, and tech-savvy Community Engagement Associate to be the voice

and pulse of Wentors across digital platforms. This role is perfect for a passionate storyteller who

understands the intersection of technology, community building, and impactful communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with Wentors’ mission and values.
  • Manage and grow Wentors’ social media presence across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Monitor trends and jump on those that align with Wentors’ values, such as diversity in tech, women empowerment, mentorship, and career growth.
  • Administer and moderate our active Telegram community group
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that amplifies women’s voices in technology
  • Identify creative ways to grow our online presence, including collaborations with influencers and tech organizations.
  • Create engaging, shareable content that increases community engagement and follower growth
  • Write and curate compelling blog posts highlighting tech trends, member success stories, and industry insights
  • Craft monthly newsletters that capture the essence of our community’s achievements and upcoming opportunities
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to continually refine content strategy
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics) to track content effectiveness
  • Provide monthly breakdown reports on social media performance, highlighting key metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
  • Stay current with tech industry trends, women in tech narratives, and relevant global conversations

Required Skills

  • Exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities
  • Proven experience in social media management
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Ability to create content that resonates with women in technology
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in:

  • Social media management tools
  • Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics
  • Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation
  • Prior experience managing a community is relevant
  • Background in technology, communications, or digital marketing
  • Passionate about supporting women in technology
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Quick learner who can adapt to rapidly changing digital landscapes
