Job Description:

  • Preparing and teaching lessons as set out in the curriculum, setting assessment tasks, and marking students’ work.
  • Present lessons in the most creative, friendly, and smart manner
  • Encourage further studies in students through games, internal competitions, and interactive engagements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, student academic progress, and personal management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruction and Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the civics, history, and government curricula.
  • Assessment: Assess student learning through various methods, including tests, projects, and classroom discussions.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, debate, and active participation.
  • Student Guidance: Provide pastoral care and guidance to students, supporting their academic and personal development.
  • Resource Development: Develop and utilize various resources, including textbooks, online materials, and real-world examples, to enhance teaching.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest developments in the field and engage in professional development activities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
