Job Description:
This role is a unique blend of business development, sales, and product ownership, with a focus on driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with utility companies (including electricity distribution companies) and developing industry-fit solutions to address key challenges in the utility sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Operations and collaborate with internal teams to bring innovative products to market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth through partnerships with utility companies and work with sales teams on sales presentations

- Research competitors and build business intelligence on prospective customers and industry/market trends.
- Make and deliver presentations to prospective customers and internal stakeholders.
- Have thorough knowledge of the company’s products and services.
- Establish and nurture strategic data partnerships with electricity distribution companies, and other relevant stakeholders in the utility space.
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Work closely with the internal product team to identify and develop solutions that address key challenges in the utility industry.
- Define the vision for new products and champion them from conceptualization to market launch.
- Negotiate contract terms with customers and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Director of Operations to inform business strategy.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and objectives.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or product ownership, preferably in the utility or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building long-term partnerships, and launching successful products.
- Experience working with electricity distribution companies (DisCos) or other utility providers is highly preferred.
- Experience collaborating with product teams to develop and launch market-fit solutions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 – ₦350,000.00 per month
