Job Description:

As the Business Development Manager for DriveMate, you will play a pivotal role in growing our B2B client portfolio. Your primary objective will be to drive new business acquisition, develop strategic partnerships, and increase brand awareness among fleet managers, logistics companies, and other relevant sectors. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement growth strategies, making DriveMate the go-to solution for vehicle and fleet management in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new B2B clients in key industries such as logistics, transportation, construction, and other relevant industries.

2. Market Expansion: Develop strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition, leveraging data and insights to build strong sales pipelines.

3. Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance DriveMate’s market position and brand recognition.

4. Customer Relationship Management: Establish, nurture, and grow relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.

5. Sales Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and metrics for tracking sales performance, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.

6. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities for DriveMate’s B2B growth.

7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the tech, marketing, and support teams to deliver a seamless experience to our clients.

Requirements:

– 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the automotive, fleet management, or tech industry.

– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.

– Strong knowledge of the Nigerian market and an established network of relevant contacts within key industries.

– Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

– A self-starter with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
