Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bakery Supervisor to lead and support the day-to-day operations of our bakery team. This role is responsible for overseeing production schedules, maintaining quality standards, supervising bakery staff, and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. The ideal candidate is a skilled baker with strong leadership qualities and a passion for delivering fresh, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily bakery operations, including preparation, baking, packaging, and presentation
• Oversee and support bakery staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time
• Maintain high standards of product quality, consistency, and freshness
• Assist in creating daily production schedules and ensuring adherence
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Provide hands-on support during peak hours or staff shortages
• Train new team members in baking techniques, recipes, and safety protocols
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns related to bakery products
• Help implement and maintain standard operating procedures for baking and preparation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a bakery setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in Baking or Culinary Arts
• Experience with large-batch production and commercial baking equipment
• Familiarity with inventory systems and scheduling tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦200,000.00 per month
