Area Sales Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven and dynamic Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within a designated geographical area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, meeting revenue targets, managing a team of sales representatives, and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve area targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives/representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage and market penetration.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and brand visibility.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess market dynamics and team performance.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month
