Advertising Sales Representative/City Partner

Job Description:

This role involves promoting our advertising solutions (e.g., digital ads, sponsored content, social media promotions) while also cross-selling our company’s products/services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of Nigeria’s business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Advertising Sales & Revenue Generation:
• Identify and target potential advertisers (SMEs, corporates, agencies) in Nigeria.
• Present and sell advertising solutions (display ads, video ads, native ads, sponsorships).
• Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Product Sales:
• Promote and sell the company’s proprietary products/services to Nigerian clients.
• Upsell and cross-sell advertising clients into product buyers.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers and agencies.
• Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Market Research & Strategy:
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.

• 2+ years in advertising sales, media sales, (preferably in Nigeria).
• Experience selling digital ads, programmatic advertising, or sponsored content is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo) is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Nigeria’s advertising/media landscape.
• Understanding of digital marketing trends (social media, programmatic ads, influencer marketing).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦300,000.00 per month

Location: Lagos
