Job Description:

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a friendly and helpful demeanor. As the School Administrator, you will work closely with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the school.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the school’s leadership team, including handling phone calls, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.

2. Student Records Management: Maintain and update student records, including enrollment, attendance, and grades, while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

3. Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors and parents, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate staff members or resources.

4. Communication Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for parent, student, and staff communications, including distributing newsletters, memos, and general correspondence.

5. Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and graduation ceremonies.

6. Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and managing the school’s budget, tracking expenses, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

7. Resource Management: Oversee the inventory of school supplies and equipment, ensuring they are appropriately stocked and maintained.

8. Safety and Security: Collaborate with the school’s safety and security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

9. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, ensuring it is appropriately stored and shared only with authorized individuals.

10. Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and the local community, assisting with organizing volunteer opportunities and coordinating parent involvement initiatives.

11. Social Media Management: Managing all social media accounts, creating and publishing content, engaging with followers and the online community.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or related field (preferred).

– Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.

– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

– Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and data management systems.

– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

– Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.

– Knowledge of relevant education policies and procedures.

– Friendly and approachable, with a helpful and positive attitude.

– Willingness to undergo background checks as required.

Education:

  • Higher National Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • ADMINISTRATION: 3 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦200,000.00 per month
