Administrative & Program Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative & Program Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only detail-oriented but also passionate about social impact, youth empowerment, and environmental justice. You will support administrative tasks, coordinate projects, assist with community engagement, and help us run smoother, more impactful programs.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Schedule meetings, take minutes, and manage calendars for project activities.
  • Maintain and organize documentation, reports, and participant records.
  • Support the management of email communications and logistics.
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial record-keeping.

Project Coordination

  • Help in planning and executing training workshops, events, and outreach activities.
  • Coordinate participant communication, onboarding, and follow-ups.
  • Liaise with vendors, trainers, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Prepare and format reports, proposals, and presentation materials.

Community Engagement & Advocacy Support

  • Assist with content creation for social media and newsletters.
  • Join field visits to document impact stories and gather community feedback.
  • Help facilitate youth sessions and support beneficiaries during training.
  • Promote the visibility of Tech4Rural’s work within and outside the community.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Zoom.
  • A passion for social impact, youth development, or environmental advocacy.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for community work.
  • Prior experience in admin, NGO support, or project coordination is a plus.

  • Fluent in English (and any local Niger Delta languages is a plus).

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₦50,000.00 – ₦60,000.00 per month
