We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our team. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our leadership with accurate reporting and insights. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting functions including payroll, reconciliations, and financial entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Implement internal financial controls and best practices for risk management.
- Reconcile betting transactions and monitor wallet balances and revenue reports from the platform.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency in all company operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with reconciliation of digital transactions and payment platforms is a plus.
- Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of confidentiality.
