Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial records, reports, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate must be ICAN-certified and possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
• Manage audits and support internal and external auditors with documentation and explanations.
• Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight for decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards (IFRS), and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 Monthly

Pay: ₦200,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month
