Job Description:

Miala Media & Marketing is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer (Bookkeeper) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for confirming customer payments, managing petty cash, updating financial records, and ensuring smooth order processing. This role requires excellent accuracy, trustworthiness, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm customer payments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Manage, disburse, and reconcile petty cash with proper records.
• Move confirmed orders on CRM software for timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the logistics and sales teams for smooth order fulfillment.
• Support the Accountant with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks.
• Perform other related tasks to support the finance and operations teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related experience.
• Academic qualification: OND or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in basic accounting software or CRM platforms.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity and responsibility in handling cash.
