Job description:
The overall responsibility of this role is to ensure the implementation of DIL recruitments and programmes covering candidate sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding for various positions in DIL support for high profile recruitment and onboarding across the Business.
Prepare advertisement notices for vacant positions for relevant review and approval.
Liaise with relevant department (or third-party organisation) for publication of advertisements.
Work with specialized head-hunters and current employees to obtain referrals for vacant position.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of CVs submitted to DIL.
Perform preliminary categorisation of unsolicited CVs according to best fit and provide recommendations.
Participate in the review and screening of candidates’ CVs according to job requirements.
• Schedule assessment tests and/ or interviews and ensure timely communication to candidates and interviewers.
• Liaise with departments or external parties to organise resources for tests and interviews.
Participate in and document outcome of candidate interview sessions.
Conduct reference checks on candidates at the defined stage within the recruitment/ employment process.
Develop documentation of employer/ employee agreements, terms, and conditions of work in line with industrial requirements and DIL HR policy.
• Ensure all recruitment documentations are up-to-date and accurate.
• Manage (raise requisitions, provide justifications, obtain approval, track, and report) budgeted expenses for the department’s activities.
Prepare appointment offer for new employees.
Onboard all new joiners and organise a quarterly onboarding event.
Liaise with the Departmental Heads for the management of interviewing, hiring, and candidate evaluation.
Handle all administrative tasks related to the candidate cycle (Pre-Selection to Onboarding)
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the Job Responsibilities (or similar) as described above.
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in humanities or social sciences related discipline.
Professional qualification in HR Management and membership in professional bodies Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), will be an added advantage.
• Excellent organizational, project management, analytical, time management, planning, problem solving, critical thinking skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and other computer software , MS Word, Excel, spreadsheet, database and is comfortable reviewing numbers
Knowledge and understanding of Labor Laws, employee/industrial relations with understanding of regulatory laws, statutory laws, and relevant employment policies in a manufacturing environment.
Basic Industry Knowledge , Manufacturing, Energy etcetera with Strong business acumen.
Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations, and legislations relating to the manufacturing industry.
Good understanding of job requirements, including competencies for various functions/ Department
Excellent stake holder management with good relationship and people management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong business writing, interviewing and listening skills with strong attention to details
