STORE KEEPER

Job description:

We are looking for a full-time organized and experienced storekeeper who can handle all stocks and inventory and ensure store maintenance. Our ideal candidate can multitask, and have a learning aptitude, robust organizational skills, and strong attention to detail while remaining professional with other staff and customers. We are looking for a service-oriented professional who can manage inventories, restock supplies, maintain inventory-related records, and report damaged inventories for record-keeping. Also, we expect our storekeepers to have hands-on experience using inventory management and material management software to perform all job-related duties.
What you will do
Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company
Manage all stock, maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockrooms
Receive, upload, and shelf all supplies
Perform stock-related duties like returning, packing, and labelling
Inspect deliveries for discrepancies or damage
Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities
Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in the warehouses and stores
Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase
Generate a material received report (MRR) timely
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
Ensure storage of goods follows the first in first out (FIFO) method
What we require
Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any other related field.
2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or record-keeping
Knowledge of proper stock keeping, bookkeeping, and inventory management
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage time
Ability to write reports
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills
You must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate
