Job description:
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, creating engaging content, and enhancing brand visibility across digital channels.
This individual will possess a diverse skill set encompassing photo editing, graphics design, video editing, and content creation.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a content strategy across all social media platforms (WhatsApp Status, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube,LinkedIn, Reels, and Google accounts).
Create compelling text, image, and video content tailored to each platform’s audience.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.
Edit photos to maintain brand aesthetics and enhance engagement.
Produce and edit videos for various purposes, such as product showcases, tutorials, and brand storytelling.
Design eye-catching graphics for posts, ads, and promotions.
Coordinate with other departments to align content with promotions, events, and product launches.
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities.
Optimize videos for each platform’s specifications.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular posting and campaign schedules.
Use data to optimize strategies and improve results.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Tailor content strategies for each platform’s unique audience and features.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
Attend management meetings to present social media strategies, results, and future plans.
Report directly to the Marketing Director and HR Director.
Handle other tasks assigned to you.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
Strong graphic design skills with tools like Adobe Illustrator or similar.
Video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging content.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms.
