Job description:
What you’ll get to do
Ensure the institutions policies, procedures and standards are followed according to established guidelines and make recommendations for improvements.
Manage risk assessment of customer transactions
Prompt investigation and resolution of disputes and process failures
Reconcile daily, weekly and monthly transactions
Ensure the branch operations staff adhere to the workflow process(es) that are designed by the Bank’s Operations and Risk management Teams and approved by Executive Management.
Take necessary measures to provide the needed support for smooth operations.
Managing the branch vault and daily transactions reconciliation
Guide and provide direct in line with the banks policies, standards and guidelines all operational aspects including distribution operations and customer service in branch
Leadership training, coaching, development and motivation to bring out best in the branch’s staff members.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Proven branch management experience, as a Bank Manager or similar role
Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
Experience in payments or transaction operations
Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Result driven and customer focused
Proven ability to track, measure and optimize multi-disciplined operations team, significant management experience ideally in a customer-centric role
