The Project Team Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of interior design projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, timeline, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for design and detail. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional team members, liaise with clients, and provide strategic direction to deliver exceptional design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with clients and stakeholders.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure project goals align with the company’s vision and client expectations.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
Delegate tasks, set milestones, and monitor team performance to maintain project standards and timelines.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address issues, and adjust schedules or resources as necessary.
Client Communication and Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and
high-quality service.
Present project progress, design concepts, and final deliverables to clients in a clear and
professional manner.
Quality Control and Problem Solving:
Oversee on-site project execution, ensuring design quality and compliance with specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to review project progress and identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot challenges that may arise, including schedule delays, resource shortages, or design modifications.
Budget and Resource Management:
Track and manage project expenses to stay within budget.
Work with procurement to source materials and services, negotiating terms with
suppliers and contractors.
Ensure proper allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and team member
time.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular project status reports for clients and company leadership.
Maintain thorough documentation for project phases, including design proposals, budgets, schedules, and changes.
Conduct project post-mortem reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar).
Experience in high-end residential or commercial interior design projects.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices and compliance with local building regulations.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in interior design, architecture, or construction.
Leadership Abilities: Proven experience leading and coordinating project teams, with strong decision-making skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience in client management and presentations.
Technical Knowledge: knowledge in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or Monday.com).
Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Familiarity with budget management and financial tracking.
