Sales Advisor

Job description:

As a Membership Sales Advisor, you’ll engage potential members over the phone, conveying the value of our memberships and fostering genuine connections to achieve sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell memberships by effectively communicating benefits and managing the sales process end-to-end.
Handle 15-40 calls daily, addressing both inbound inquiries and outbound efforts to secure new memberships.
Guide new members through the sign-up process and schedule their initial appointments using our internal systems.
Conduct follow-up communications to address queries and convert inquiries into memberships.
Proactively reach out to improve member retention and reactivate former members through win-back campaigns.
Provide personalized outreach to existing members to enhance their experience and promote new services.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all memberships, services, and perks offered.
Embody and promote our mission to deliver extraordinary care in every interaction.
WHO YOU ARE:
Matric qualification required.
A clear criminal record is a must.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, demonstrating a track record inbound and outbound calls.
Experience in a high-volume call centre or sales-driven customer service role is preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at building rapport and overcoming objections over the phone.
A passionate and empathetic individual with a genuine love for animals, especially cats and dogs.
Highly proficient with technology, capable of navigating and utilizing various software and CRM, Intercom, Zendesk, and Google Sheets platforms.
A self-motivated team player who is detail-oriented and thrives in a startup environment
Pet-loving Mom or Dad (advantageous)
Experience in pet insurance (advantageous)
WORKING HOURS:
45 hours per week,
2:00 PM to 11:00 PM – 3:00 PM to 00:00 AM (Daylight saving 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM -2:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
Rotational shifting from Monday to Sunday
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
Basic Salary: R 12 000
Shift Allowance: R 500
Commission (up to): R 6 500
