Quality Control Officer (Food & Beverages)

Job description:
· Perform quality assurance testing to ensure food products meet safety standards, nutritional specifications, and taste requirements.
· Implement and maintain quality assurance standards for all procured items.
· Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards across all operational areas.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or areas for improvement.
· Develop and implement food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), to maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
· Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels.
· Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes and errors are found.
· Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed.
· Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring the company meets its statutory obligations.
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or any related field.
· Other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
· Proven work experience as a Food Safety Officer, Quality Control Officer or similar role.
· Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and beverage (F&B) knowledge.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Pay: From ₦100,000.00 per month
