Job description:
The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (MD) at Kulu Abuja Fashion Academy plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the MD’s office. The ideal candidate will provide high-level administrative support, manage daily activities, and act as a liaison between the MD and other departments. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Ensure that the MD is well-prepared for all engagements, including meetings and events.
- Communication Management: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communication on behalf of the MD. Draft, review, and manage emails, letters, reports, and other correspondence.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. Ensure that meetings run smoothly and efficiently.
- Project Assistance: Assist the MD in managing special projects related to Kulu Abuja Fashion Academy. Track progress and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Documentation and Filing: Maintain an organized filing system for important documents, including contracts, reports, and confidential information. Ensure that records are kept up to date and easily accessible.
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and organizing events, such as fashion shows, exhibitions, and academy functions. Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, catering, and guest management.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. Ensure that the MD’s private matters remain secure.
- Liaison: Act as a liaison between the MD and staff, clients, and stakeholders. Relay information accurately and promptly, and ensure that communication flows smoothly.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities. Prepare reports and presentations as needed by the MD.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the fashion or creative industry is a plus but not required.

Pay: ₦80,000.00 – ₦100,000.00 per month
